I love option 4! I feel like option 2 would be too busy, but if you have a pic that shows more of it maybe that's not the case when it's zoomed out a little? Are all those inlaid marble options really suitable as floor tiles, though? I can think that they might be a nightmare to clean.

Great point - I just looked up #4 and it says wall only.

I like the fireplace tile. I'd try for something similar. Of the ones posted, I like number 1 if it can be laid out differently. 3 makes me dizzy and I don't like 2 (but I do like the colors).
Option 1 - It’s fun, fresh & bold. I love the way they have it laid in your sample pic. It also looks most like it will fit in your 100 year old home to me. While I also really love option 2, when I Googled for a bigger sample it is very modern & I think will look out of place with all of your more vintage/modern farmhouse elements.

Oh good catch. Our designer sent them over so I need to tell her that

Didn't think to do this. Yeah, I do not like the large scale and more finished photos I see of number 2.
I really like 2 but googling pictures it does seem a bit dizzying in a larger space. If there’s a slightly less dark color version, I’d go with that. The pic you posted is pretty light but others I’m seeing are much darker and more dramatic.

Oh, yeah, definitely. I thought they were hex tiles from the close-up which I thought would be busy enough, but I guess they are rectangular but also are made up of chunks of different angles? The colors are pretty but that is way too much chaotic pattern for my taste.
Also, I've never worked with a designer before, but I would definitely hope that if I was paying someone for design advice they would not send me tiles for floor that are only suitable for wall, and that they would give me more of an idea of how things look to scale?
Out of those, I favor #4. But I would likely ask the designer for more options or start looking around myself because I’m not 100% feeling any of them for a bathroom floor. How do you feel about them?

#1 - I have a similar tile laid in a diamond pattern, but I've seen it done other ways too. I picked it in part b/c it's fresh and interesting but somewhat classic (hopefully it doesn't look very 2021 ish in 10 years).
I like option 1. I think 2 is too busy. 3 feels dated. 4 is more going on than I prefer, but would be my second choice. ETA: I see that 4 isn't viable choice after all. I'd tell your designer to keep designing and get you a couple more options if you're not sold on one of them yet.
We are going with option 1 unless we get samples and absolutely hate it. It’s like the 25th tile she has shown us, LOL. We finalized a different design a couple of weeks ago but decided against it when she was about to order.
We are doing our addition and remodel with a design and build company and the designer is our architect. We really like her, and have loved everything she has designed or suggested. I’m not bothered by her providing options that were for wall only especially since my husband veto’d that one and you guys didn’t help by liking his favorite choice, option 1.
Thank you everyone for your input! It’s so fun to read everyone’s opinion and call outs. I would have never caught the wall only option!
