Bottom Line - our dog is not doing well and DH and I aren't sure how much longer she has (we have a vet appt scheduled bc we don’t know what’s up).
That said, a photog we've used before is running a Sept special, so I booked a session for us and our pup for next weekend.
Two things - one it's still really warm here, two I bought these outfits for family pics a while ago, but then my sister passed away, so we never did extended family pics that summer.
SOOOOO all that to say, it's ok to wear these next weekend, right? I have navy cardigans for both of us if it's chilly. DH will be in a blue polo.
I guess I don't understand why it wouldn't be. Is it because they are "summer dresses" and the second week of September might have a fall feeling to it? Anyway, I think it is fine. The only way I really notice it is fall in my family pictures is if there are obvious turning leaves in the picture or leaves on the ground.

It’s fine as long as it’s not a total fall leaves type shoot. Maybe message your photographer and let them know so they can consider the best setting and shots.

definitely way more than ok!!! my photographer loves photographing us in front of dead looking trees in winter so as long that's not her style I don't see any mish mash...hope your pup has fun at the session

Summer isn’t even officially over until the end of the month!
There may be places where the leaves are changing, but I assume that’s not the case where you are if it’s still warm. No one will be the wiser! (And September is very much a warm weather month here too so it makes me think of dresses and even shorts. #Regional)
