And Charles st 12 tomorrow though I'm calling it a training run and will be trying to take it easy. I just wanted the hoodie and leisurely tour of the city.
I’m thinking about a 10k for Thanksgiving. I already decided to scrap a fall half like I normally do since I’m just not there right now. I will probably be a late entrant to the 10k because it’s where we’re hoping to stay with family and our plans are so dependent on what is going on with covid then, and it’s anyone’s guess at this point.

I’ve always wanted to do the Charles St 12 - I love the IDEA of it. I don’t love the late August/early September date! Have fun!

I’m hoping for a half marathon in early December. I’m watching COVID numbers, which will likely be the deciding factor, but I’m excited to actually be training for something again!

same! I did it once and it was so hot I won’t again.
Half Marathon on September 26th and one at the end of October.. too lazy too look up the date! I haven't done a half marathon since Feb 2020 thanks to COVID. I am excited, but nervous.

I’m running the Cherry Blossom 10 miler next weekend (rescheduled from April).
I’m trying to figure out my fall marathon plans. I was planning to run a race in upstate NY in October with my husband, but he ended up having a conflict that weekend, and I decided I didn’t want to go all the way up there on my own. I switched to a different race that was closer to me, but they cancelled the race last week. Now I need to find another race. I have some ideas, but I’m worried about another cancellation.
I just did a 7 miler this past weekend, and am thinking about a 15k in November. But I'm waiting until closer to register, because if they just do a virtual thing again like 2020, I'm not really interested. For now the actual race is still on.

I'm signed up for MCM. I don't really enjoy running or training longer distances, but it's DH's first in-person marathon (he did the virtual MCM last year), so I said I'd do it with him.

So exciting to hear about upcoming races! I took 2019 off by choice, and then 2020/2021 because of all the race cancellations, so I’m itching to get back out on a course again. Currently, I have the Dead Horse 50k on November 20th, but H and I ended up finding a property back east this summer and will (hopefully) have closed and moved by then. Instead, we’ll defer those to one of the spring 2022 Moab races and make a trip back out then.
My 2020 100 miler (Run Rabbit Run) allowed us to defer to 2021 or 2022, so that’s also on the calendar for September 2022. Fingers crossed!
Looking forward to more H&F activity as things start picking up again!
I’m not interested in doing virtual events, so I expect it will be next year before I race again. I would have done the Staten Island half but it was cancelled this year again.
