Fri: Rest Sat: 8 mile run Sun: 4 mile run Mon: 30 minutes of spin and lower body strength
BQ: Saturday we sat by the pool and drank margaritas. Sunday we went shopping, though neither of bought anything, but it was fun to do something outside our house!
Friday: rest? i don't remember...I think I blew off my swim? Saturday: ran 12! fun race, we got great weather. I ran faster than i expected. Sunday: swam ~half mile open water Monday: biked a slow 2 hours, fell over on my bike on a slippery wooden bridge. Am bruised, need a new helmet. Yay helmets! Dented helmet>>>>dented head!
Had a in house made "poptart" at a well loved local breakfast joint after my race on Saturday and it was GOOD. Definitely hit the spot. And MH made me a delicious homemade pastrami sandwich (we smoked it on Saturday) on Sunday after my ride.

Fri: 20 min run + strength Sat: 60 min Peloton cycle Sun: 18 mile outdoor bike Mon: 45 min Peloton cycle + some arms and shoulders
BQ: We made homemade pizza on Saturday and on Sunday hot oil fondue...at least that's the best way I can describe it. Marinated steak, chicken and veggies.
Fri - swam 112 laps, biked 2.6 mi, did a 30 min Yoga w Adrienne session while I was on a passive conference call (will definitely repeat that!) Sat - ran 8.75 mi, we all got flu vaccines Sun - biked about 6 mi w my kids Mon - ran 3 mi w my kids, 2 mi family bike ride
BQ - The best food of the weekend were these awesome local peaches and honey crisp apples from the Farmers Market, and my husband made chocolate chip cookies to take to our friends’ (though we wound up not going because of the rain - more for me!). It’s just the Nestle recipe with half the white sugar substituted for brown, and he bakes them a minute or two short, but they are seriously the best things ever.

Friday: 14.25 mile bike ride Saturday: 11.4 mile bike ride Sunday: A 45-minute walk/run combo (I didn’t bother tracking distance) Monday: A five-mile hike
I just want to say that I learned to ride a bike only 11 months ago, and I’m super proud of myself that I rode 25 miles this past weekend (the 14-and-change miler was my longest ever!) I love riding and only wish I had learned sooner — OTOH it’s never too late!
On Sun I ran my first race since ... late 2016? I spontaneously signed up for a 7 mile race while on vacation. It was more "do the run" and less "race," but it felt so good!
