BQ: Nope! I love cycling in shorts and a jersey instead of 3-4 layers! I am ready for it to not be 90+ degrees and humid 82-83 and not humid is fine. I much prefer warmer weather to cold weather.

Fri: rest Sat: run 8 miles Sun: run 4 miles plus strength
BQ: we moved to the land of perpetual summer a couple months ago, so no. I love summer and warm weather. However, I agree with sadlebred, and I’m ready for 90+ degrees with 90% humidity to take a break. We’ve had a couple days that were slightly less swampy this last week, so hopefully slightly lower temps are in my near future! But I will be totally fine if I never have to wear my cold weather running gear again.

Friday: walked/ran for 30 mins (I walk if when on uphill, run on flat or downhill) Saturday: nothing Sunday: Barbell Medicine Powerlifting W5 D1, accessories, and HIIT
BQ: yes, I'm ready for fall! It's getting hot again here this week, but last week we had that perfect early fall weather.
What did everyone do this weekend? Fri - 6 miles Sat - 20 miles Sun - rest
BQ: Are you ready for summer to end? Yes. This summer was crazy busy and exhausting, and while it was a blast, I’m ready to not have every single weekend planned out (although that still doesn’t look to happen until mid-October). I’m also loving having our windows open again.

Fri: 20 min run + strength Sat: 60 min Peloton cycle Sun: 45 min Peloton cycle
BQ: It's always bittersweet when fall comes around. I enjoy the weather much better, but I love the activities of summer. I've been doing indoor or outdoor bike rides instead of running all summer, so I am making an effort to get more running in now that the temps are more forgiving.
My back has been hurting so Friday and Sat all I did was my stretches. I was away for the weekend with my family, so I did take the dog for a walk yesterday
I am ready for cooler weather, but not ready for Summer to end. We all fell asleep so early last night because it was dark and it made us tired.

I ran the Cherry Blossom 10 miler on Sunday. It was so great! It was a real, 2019-style race. Thousands of runners, lots of spectators, and water stations with cups! I haven’t experienced that since early 2020. It felt good.
Meanwhile, I keep seeing other races, mostly in the northeast and mid-Atlantic, getting cancelled.
