I bought Hue brand leather leggings in 2015 and wore them constantly. LOVE them. They got a hole after 5 years of constant wear, I bought a dupe on Amazon, $30 and love them.
For sizing reference, I wear a 12/14 ish and bought the XL and they’re perfect and very comfy.

I bought a pair of faux leather leggings pre-covid from Kohls at some point when I had Kohls cash and nothing I particularly wanted to spend it on. They fit well and are comfortable, but I've never worn them outside of trying them on and considering them as part of a potential outfit. I'm guessing part of it is not going as many places due to Covid, but I would have been annoyed at this point if I had spent a lot on them. Another part of the problem is that I struggle to find appropriate shoes to go with them that I actually want to wear.
I just bought mine so I can't commend on the "worth it?" question, but Nordstrom recommended I size up and I'm so glad I did.
Agreed, definitely size up 1 size.
Also, I didn't find much of a difference at all between the regular and short lengths, so if you need a short length don't stress if the color you want only comes in regular...There's barely any difference. I'm 5'4" and both regular and short hit my ankle.

They are so comfortable, despite really sucking you in. I have them in black and olive green. I also have their faux leather dress pants, and they are my favorite for going out. They run true to size, unlike the leggings, and don't have compression.

I ordered these just now. They get here this weekend. I can't wait.
Let me know if your thighs touch and if so, do these squeak when you walk? lol For some reason the regular leather ones don't make me think they would, but the patent leather? Feels like bad news.
Add this to the list of shit I didn't know I needed. Someone ping me if you see a black friday deal on the Spanx version.
These are so not me. I want to do it!
I said the same- so not me. But I was amazed at the number of opportunities that I could wear them and felt dressier than regular black pants! I'm actually noodling about what I'm wearing them to next and what top to pair!

My thighs definitely touch and don’t squeak.
My favorite way to wear these pants is with a long tunic and sneakers. Either black Nikes or white Cole Haan sneakers. I also wear black leather flats or heels to dress them up, but much prefer sneakers. It’s a fun casual outfit.

Follow up, they came on Saturday and are really comfy and definitely suck you in but I can still breathe. I am a size 12 and ordered a XL. They could be a bit longer but I deal with that with most pants. They are soft and no squeaking at all.
I ended up ordering the Spanx faux leather leggings on Mercari for $63. They're cute! And comfy. Spam me with your fave tops to wear with them though. I need some new ones.
