Q: I’m not really a sweets person (more of a salty snack girl), so I’m the odd duck that can buy Halloween candy and put into a cabinet for weeks. We’ve also moved more towards non-food allergy friendly treats in recent years since DS’s bestie is allergic to everything under the sun.
I took all three days off, eep. But I was extremely busy with different things, and also sidelined a bit with my covid booster. I otherwise probably would have run this morning.
QOTW: Yeah, there’s usually an element of a little for you, a little for me with the Halloween candy. I haven’t cracked into our current supply yet for next week but I might, especially if there are Milky Ways in the one bag my husband got.
Friday: run 4 Saturday: run 9 (very slow but I did it!)
Candy: kind of. What I usually do is buy one bag of mixed Halloween candy, and one bag of Reese's peanut butter cups, but then I only put half the pb cups in the bag to give out.
Friday: hiking with H Saturday: 45 strength workout, 3 mile hike with family Sunday: 18 mile outdoor bike. I think this is the last of the season for me as it was a little cold, but I went outdoors because I am anxiously awaiting my Peloton bike on Thursday. I'm finally upgrading from a DIY set up.
BQ: I usually buy a mix of candy and sample some of the Reese's as the night progresses.

Fri: 5 mile walk Sat: 10 mile hot and humid run (WHYYYYY is still so humid here?!?!) Sun: 4.5 mile run plus strength
BQ: We only buy things we like. But we don't usually get many ToTers, so we don't buy much. My H will halloween candy til he makes himself sick. So I try to buy things we like the least (but still good stuff!) so he doesn't eat it all in one sitting. Now that I WFH, I also stash some candy in my desk so I actually get to enjoy some!
