I found the best price for my favorite hotel through a hotel and ticket package directly through Disney. It says I have to pay $200 to secure the reservation now and the balance has to be paid off one month prior to the trip. Do you know if the balance can be paid in small chunks along the way or do I have to pay the balance in one lump sum?
I see that I can use gift cards to pay since it's directly with Disney. I sometimes find gift cards at discounted prices and I'd like to use these to pay the balance as I come across them.
Sam’s club is the only place I know of that always has discount Disney cards (not by much, maybe 6%?) but they do have a Black Friday deal coming up that’s $450 for a $500 card, max of 2.
@princessbubbleyum, as long as it's refunded to just 1 card/e-card, it's fine. I will definitely use it at some point.
jewel, I hunt for discounted cards. The upcoming Sam's Club deal is a really good one since it's a large amount. My local supermarket usually has two rounds of discounted gift cards of any brand. Sometimes there are Amex offers for stores where they sell gift cards, like I currently have 2 offers for $50 off a $250 purchase at Lowes and I think they sell Disney gift cards.

It's refunded to the card it came from, I believe, or used to be.
I combine my gift cards here - www.disneygiftcard.com/ and then use it. I think $1000 is the max. I usually buy mine at Target and get 5% off (sometimes 10%) with my red card.
