I have this calendar of WPA posters that I love.
I want to display them in some way. Not all 12 probably but I'd like to see more than 1.
They are about 8" by 11.5", and I can't cut off the top and bottom because the words go to the edge.
Would you get some separate frames and custom mats, or is there some other way to do this that looks put together and not like a college bulletin board? What if I used spray adhesive to put them on some kind of backer board and hung them up directly with command strips?
I'm open to scrapping the idea altogether, if it's too expensive or just won't look good.
If you have a frame size in mind, most of the WPA posters are public domain and the Library of Congress has high resolution files, so you can get them printed any size you want. I haven’t looked for these in particular, but I imagine they’re in there. www.loc.gov/pictures/search/?st=grid&co=wpapos

Framing them with a matte and thin profile frame would work. However, you might be better off printing a matte version of high res files to the size you want. Calendars are often a fairly glossy card stock and if I’m framing in glass I’d prefer matte.
Another easier, cheaper way to hang them is with magnetic poster frames like this if you are ok with the more rustic or boho look. You can find them other places in different sizes.
