I was on the Lego website yesterday. My kids aren't into specific Lego sets yet so I will probably get DD whatever I find in the stores or online. DS would go nuts for the Sesame Street set. He's too little to understand building it but I think I will buy it if I can find it and save it for his birthday. I might buy the FC Barcelona set to show my husband one final example of how I have always cared about his interests.
My local Barnes and Noble had the Sesame Street Lego set.
No, probably not, lol. Although the thought of having the Home Alone house on display sounds awesome. Depending on how long it takes to assemble, I may display it during Christmas and then take it apart and pack away with the Christmas decorations and reassemble every year. I really enjoy putting them together, and I think it sounds fun to make it a Christmas activity. My husband does have a bunch of Star Wars LEGO sets that are displayed on some shelves in our office, but my kids donāt care about displaying LEGO projects. They actively play with all their Legos.
Would you disassemble into numbered bags so you could use the instruction guide to rebuild?Ā I love assembling Lego sets, but my current rule is I can only buy what I'm willing to display.Ā I have a small house and limited space.Ā The idea of rebuilding appeals to me, but breaking down in a way that facilitates rebuilding seems daunting.Ā This rule helps save money though... I wish there was a subscription service where I could get rent a Lego set for a couple of weeks so I could put it together, enjoy it briefly, and return it.
The Lego piano in my front entry way is a great conversation starter though.Ā People thinks it's awesome.
There is a subscription where you can do that! One of my son's friends does it. Netbricks or something like that??

We have had great luck with Embark! We were correctly matched to her mom and two siblings (we confirmed through our rescue). Def worth the money for us.
H makes regular and Iāve switched completely to decaf. Weāre tired of making two pots every day. Would this work for us? He could make a pot and I could get by with just a cup (or two). Iāve looked at a few other coffee makers that have both full pot and single cups. I do drink iced coffee all summer.
Iām also looking for BF deals on iPads. We just upgraded our phones this week on a BF Verizon deal. The iPad is next.
Iām also eyeing a chrome book at Best Buy for $99. DD (10) has a kindle and it isnāt great. She could use the chrome book for so much more. How many years can I expect out of a cheap one?

lucybrown I have the Ninja coffee bar and love it. I drink 1 latte per day. There are different settings for the amount you want to make. So you could quickly make your 1 cup, then your DH could make his full pot. I highly recommend.
I just bought this bike and I really, really like it. My husband uses it fine at 6'2" and his only complaint is that he finds it difficult to get his foot into the cage on the pedal, but he wears a size 14.
Best Buy has some of their deals going live today. I have to go pick it up, but I snagged a switch bundle with mario kart download and 3mos nintendo online. Super excited!
Does anyone know if North Face ever does deals for Black Friday or Cyber Monday? I am in desperate need of a new winter jacket and I tried on the Arctic Parka and it was perfect, but also $300ā¦

Also, we want a hot and cold coffee maker and have our eye on the Ninja one. Maybe itāll go on sale (anyone know if they donor not? Itās our first time buying a fancy coffee machine)?
If anyone has a rec for a nice coffee maker for both cold and hot thatās not the Ninja, let me know!
Target and the Ninja website both have sales going right now on the coffee makers. I ended up buying one after reading about them here! Target also has a holiday guarantee that if the price goes lower before Dec 24 they'll refund the difference.

I signed up for Walmart plus just to get early access to some of their Black Friday deals. I was able to get a cricut for my mom but didn't get a PS5 for my brother.
I had sort of had my eye on the Ninja Foodie Air Fryer Oven so when I was able to get it for 149.99 at Navy Exchange I went for it. It seems to be running about $169 at a lot of other stores.

Iāve all but given up hope on ever owning a PS5.

It's so crazy! It came out in November 2020 and sells out the moment it gets posted.

I want a new battery powered string trimmer to go along with the leaf blower and hedge trimmers I got earlier this year. I know, exciting.
I am looking for the same thing! Right now I picked the Dewalt that includes a replacement battery. Currently $199.00 at the Home Depot.
The two things I have now are from Greenworks Pro, so I'll stick with them. You can swap batteries between the yard implements (doo-hickey things). I want a string trimmer with no battery to keep cost down, and I already have 2 batteries and chargers.
