Note: All activities within my cardiac restrictions.
Thursday: 26 mile road & gravel ride at turkey pace Friday: Party pace 25 mile gravel ride Saturday: Horseback riding lesson/general stuff around the barn for an hour+ Sunday: Easy rail trail road ride
BQ: I ate too much at Friendsgiving. My friend's H is the GRILL/FRY MASTER, and the turkey melted in your mouth! This coming from a mainly-vegetarian. I've been eating leftovers that I cooked on Thursday and still have enough left for 1-2 more meals. Then I don't want to see rolls or scalloped potatoes for a while. Oh, and pie! I froze some for Dec., gave 1/4 of it to a neighbor, and have been eating the rest since last Tuesday. With vanilla ice cream.
Thurs - 10k turkey trot with two of my cousins. It was really nice being able to run it all three together. Then walked about 1.5 mi, some on the beach with my husband after dinner. Then we had a big family dance party, and for at least an hour I was jamming all over the place. Fri - ran 3 mi Sat - walked about 1.5 mi on the beach, 9.55 mi on the gym bike when we got home Sun - 15.37 mi on the gym bike
QOTW: I didn’t go too wild at dinner… my favorite thing was probably the mashed potatoes. I was prepared to sing the praises of whichever relative had lovingly handcrafted those, but my uncle said they were from Costco. 🤷🏻♀️🤣
Thursday - Rest Friday - 1.5 mi run, 10 min core, 10 min upper body Saturday - 2 mi run, 10 min core, 10 min lower body Sunday - 0.5 mi walk, 20 min yoga, 10 min foam rolling
BQ: I definitely ate a lot, but didn’t feel totally disgusting for once, lol. I am only interested in thanksgiving food because of the side dishes, so I loaded up on stuffing, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, Cole slaw, and cranberry sauce. I had one piece of turkey because I “had to” but give me all the sides!
