How are y'all dealing with the vax requirement in public places? I'm in Edmonds so not that far from the county border, but I forget every time I go south.
Is this requirement keeping you inside more than usual, or has it not changed your habits?
Honestly it hasn’t changed my usual activities as I’ve been trying to only eat out when I can eat outside. Otherwise I haven’t been hanging around places indoors that have been affected since it’s not required for stores, etc.
ETA: though I did hear someone recently complaining that they were turned away from a restaurant because they weren’t vaccinated so it does sound like places are checking
It hasn't changed anything for me because I don't really go places. 😳
But this post reminded me to download my vaccine card from the state (with my booster). Looks like you can save it to your Apple Health account and wallet if you've got an iPhone!

We haven't been doing much indoors locally besides Kraken games. And having the vaccine requirement does make me feel a bit better about that. We do go to the restaurant up the street but we always sit on their patio - they still require proof of vaccine.
But we were just up in Whistler for Thanksgiving and they were very strict about showing proof of vaccine and matching ID to enter the eating areas of the lodges and go in to any bar or restaurant. We did eat inside a few times there (twice on the mountain, once for apres, and once for dinner out).
I have my proof on my phone. I think there's some way to store in in Google Wallet, but I just have a screenshot of it in a pinned Google Keep note. I saw Dune in theaters and I've sat down with my mom in a coffee shop once or twice.
I think it's good they're doing it, it seems like a few more adults are getting their shots.
