So I jumped into the weekly check in post last week and some others since and never actually gave a proper introduction. I've been on and off GP here and on TN for more than a year so I guess I feel as if I've done this before
Anyway, MH & I both just turned 31 and we have been TTC our first since January. We live in south Texas but neither are native here (I'm from NJ, he's from Chicago) and are hoping to move sometime in the near future if jobs want to cooperate
I work in higher education and am currently finishing my doctorate in educational leadership. I love sports, 90s alternative music, beer, and kitty cats. We have 2 cats, Smokey and Plinko.

Well I went to school in Pittsburgh and that's where I learned to drink Yuengling But they have it in NJ too. And a lot of other places now, just hasn't made it's way this far south yet.
Yes, I enjoy Hoegaarden too! I'm a wheat beer kind of girl first and foremost.

I was recently on vacation out west and was SO SAD when I couldn't get a Yuengling. I don't drink that often normally, but I so desperately wanted a Yuengling and there was none to be had.
And yes, this is my first totally-random post on GBCN/GP. lol

That's one of our favs too. Hands down.
Then perhaps you should try Tripel Karmeliet...if you haven't. One of my FAVS. So goooood. I'm a wino, as my name uggests, but oh man I adore good Belgian beer, or local brews.
DH did his undergrad in Pittsburgh before he moved out here. And of course having grown up out there, Yuengling is a fond memory of his debaucherous youth.

Oooooh lady you will love. It's not quite as wheaty/yeasty tasting as the ^^, but it's delish. It is traditionally served in a giant goblet with a fleur de lys, very refined lol
