Closet Reno

I have been designing our closet in my head since pretty much the day we moved in 7 years ago. In the first week of October, my husband caught the bug and starting tearing things up. I joked that I hoped to get my clothes out of the guest room by Thanksgiving, but because nothing is ever in stock at IKEA and because DH did everything by himself on his days off, we didn’t get to the point of being able to put clothes away until last night. We are still waiting for several pull out shoe racks and shelves but I’m excited to share pictures.

Here is before. It was a disaster, made worse by the closet being where I collected stuff for Goodwill runs. The wall on the left got torn down.

I just put all my clothes back in the closet and I have 5 empty drawers on my side, LOL! I can’t believe how much more space we have!

Beautiful and inspiring! I need to work on my closet next year. We did a half A job when we built it. I'd like to trim it out like aspentosh
