Friday: Off Saturday: 26 mile gravel road ride Sunday: 60 minutes on the trainer (raining out)
BQ: I don't really make them. With my health in an unknown state and a very very rare side effect from open heart surgery in late 2020 (side effect not believed to have started til Aug. 2021 and discovered in early Nov. 2021), everything is on hold until we know what is going to happen with it.
Q: I’m doing monthly goals this year vs a New Years resolution. January’s are 1) run 60+ miles, 2) read 2 books, 3) no alcohol outside MLK weekend when I have plans
Fri: 5 mile walk Sat: 4 mile walk plus 30 min peloton ride Sun: Nothing
BQ: Not really. I prefer to set realistic goals throughout the year, b/c I feel like true new years resolutions just set me up for failure. So right now my goals are: 1. drink less in January (I always over indulge around the holidays, so this is pretty easy). 2. Get through the next few months injury free so I can start my marathon training cycle in May/June in a good place. 3. Less screen time. I spend too much time scrolling on my phone/ipad, so my goal for January is to reduce screen time by a few minutes each day.
