Hardwood floor matching

A year a half ago we did a kitchen renovation and ended up replacing the flooring in all the main living areas and hallways to the same engineered hardwood. Now I'm ready to replace the carpet in the bedrooms with the same flooring, however it's been discontinued 😭

There are 2 areas where the transition from the discontinued hardwood the new floor is a double door width, so lots of visibility. So, do I try to find something that looks similar (but obviously won't be an exact match) or should I do something totally different so it doesn't look like I tried to match and failed?

Both options seem like not great options - is there something else I should consider?
