I'm so burned out I'm tempted to just move forward without shopping around ... does $5500 seem roughly reasonable for an 8' x 8' shed like the one pictured below but with colors to match our house? Cost includes delivery, gravel pad and border, etc. I tried a few online calculators but i guess all the crazy "she-shed" trends are making things skew to ridiculous levels, so it tells me like the range is like $1,500 - $30,000 for an 8x8 shed.

That seems average I built a 14x15 shed on a preexisting concrete pad for $3800 (materials only) however that was pre-pandemic. I'm sure the material costs have doubled. The fact that includes delivery and install makes it seem reasonable. If you can afford it and it fits what you are looking for I'd go for it. It sounds like you can afford it and sometimes saving all the hassle and time of getting multiple quotes is worth it.

That seems very reasonable if it includes full install. I think you’d pay at least $3k for DIY and a rough rule of thumb is to double material costs to estimate labor.

clairebear, ellipses84,Thanks to both of you! Turns out it's an extra 30% to have it assembled on site, so we're looking into replacing our fence gate (which we were thinking of doing anyway) with a double gate so we can bring the whole thing in assembled. Scope creep, but if we're going to spend an extra $1200 I'd like to spend it on something we wanted anyway. :-)
