"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”
Usually a blood clot will be warm and your leg will be visibly swollen. Obviously better to check it out, but I'd be less worried without swelling and warmth.
I completely understand your fears though. I was in a car accident in 2016 and after we got home, I had this pain in my back of my calf and also immediately thought blood clot. I went to the ER and it was likely just a deep bruise (not visible on my skin) from my leg slamming back on the seat adjuster in the car.
I’d be less worried without the redness/swelling but yes always worth getting checked out. I’m wondering if when you fell on Sunday you pulled a muscle or banged your calf as well and just hadn’t noticed it before now?

I experienced a DVT blood clot after a flight to Brazil. It started with swelling and tightness like I had a cramp that I couldn't stretch out. No redness and no warmth. f you are doing calf stretches and it doesn't feel like it's getting better, I would definitely get it checked out! Goodluck!
I didn't have redness or warmth with my DVT either. I did have swelling, though.
I don't think it's likely you have one, but it wasn't likely that I did either so you never know. I would bring it up with your doc and they will likely refer you for an ultrasound to be sure.
momin2013, yaga, could be from falling i suppose. just didnt think it would take 3 days for a tight muscle. thanks!! just waiting on my call
I fell twice in the span of 6 months while running and the random bruises around my body took a while for me to notice. Like I landed on my hands and knees but a few days later, I also had pain/stiffness/bruising on my ankle(s?). Then again I'm one of those really graceful people who wakes up to find bruises that I can't remember getting so you can imagine how spectacular it looked as I fell
Hopefully it isn't anything concerning though! And I hope your broken bones are feeling okay.
