I’m thinking of putting an under mount soap dispenser on my kitchen sink. We already have a spot to put it since we used to need a reverse osmosis system. Anyone have one they would either recommend? Do you love it or hate it? Do you use it for hand soap or dish soap?

We had one put in our current sink. It was OK in the beginning, but we preferred having a separate soap dispenser. The built-in one wasn’t always easy to fill, and I constantly had to wipe down the build up. We’re passing on it in our new kitchen.
My mom had one a few years ago, and the spout broke off. Granted, it was a very thin spout, but the soap had eaten away at it over time.
We had one at our old house (that we chose when we got new granite). I liked it then, but I don’t miss it now. I’m not sure if I’d get it again should we ever change out these countertops. We used it for hand soap.
We had one at the last house. Moen brand, as it came with the faucet. Since we had installed an extra deep sink it was an extra pain in the ass to remove and refill. It took one of us holding it steady on top while the other person reached under the sink below to unscrew it and put it back together.
We used it for dishsoap, and I did find it very handy. We didn’t bother In the new build because we were doing another extra deep sink and didn’t want the hassle. Instead I bought a large marble soap bottle that sits on the count top.

We have one that needs to be refilled from the top. I hate it. It's hard to see when it is full so I either way under fill it or I overflow it and have a messy cleanup. Ours has hand soap. When we remodel, I will not be getting it again.
I’ve had one in the past and didn’t hate it. I never unscrewed to refill, just poured soap in from the top. I like that it reduces the number of things around the sink.
Love it so much we just installed a new one weekend we did new counters. I just pull the top pump thing off and pour in the soap from the top. Our first one did make us hold it under and on top and took two people, but our last two did not require that.
