What are you training for? Still nothing. I'll be under heavy cardiac restrictions for the long haul. What’s your training plan this week? Sunday: Gravel ride Monday: Road ride Tuesday: Horseback riding lesson Wed.: Trainer Thursday: Off Friday: Off What has been a H&F high this week? Getting to ride outside 3 days in a row even when it was frigid over the weekend.
What has been a H&F low? I've been really tired the last two days. #heartproblemssuck
BQ: When I'm on the trainer I watch tv and catch up on the DVR. I don't listen to anything when riding horses b/c of safety, and I wouldn't be able to hear my trainer (different trainer than the stationary bike trainer LOL!).
Trail ragnar rolling into tri season. I still haven't actually written out the tri plan to figure out how it meshes with ragnar plan...
M - be a bum (belated xmas visit with my mom) T - be a bum (didnt wanna) W - run 5 Th - bike? i should bike F - run 5 Sa - bike? Su - run 7-8ish
Like I said...I need to write down an actual plan. it's time.
High - umm, feeling like a am queen of the arctic successfully running predawn with temps in the teens Low - the freakin temp being in the teens (if anybody in the midwest wants to give me the "lols, that's our high temp!" you can just shhhhhh. I live here and not there on purpose.)
I don't listen to anything really. if I'm on the trainer I've always got something on prime or netflix i'm working through. last year was downtown abbey.

What are you training for?
Half marathon in late March, 10 miler and 10k in April
What’s your training plan this week?
M: Easy run with strides T: 400m intervals at 5k pace (plus warmup and cooldown) and full body strength W: rest/active recovery Th: Easy run with some hills, lower body strength F: Easy run unless it looks like snow on Saturday, and then I’ll make this my long run Sat: 14 mile run (or swap with Friday) Sun: Peloton cycling class, upper body strength
What has been a H&F high this week?
I’ve been mostly running solo for the past 2 months, but I was able to meet up with some people last weekend, and it was really nice to have a social run again.
What has been a H&F low?
It’s been unusually cold here for the entire month of January. It’s broken me. Morning temperatures and wind chills above 20 degrees feel balmy to me now.
BQ: What (if anything) do you listen to when you workout?
Music or podcasts. Sometimes I’ll do an outdoor peloton running class.
What are you training for? United Airlines NYC Half Marathon
What’s your training plan this week? I am still getting back to running after fracturing my shoulder, so I need to take it easy until I see the ortho. I was going to run today but got sick at work. Depending on how I am feeling tomorrow I plan to do 3-4 miles. Cross train on Thursday, and 6 miles Friday. Pending snowstorm on Saturday so I will do my long run Friday instead.
What has been a H&F high this week? I felt strong on my run/walk intervals on Sunday
What has been a H&F low? I was pumped to run today but getting sick derailed that plan. It bummed me out. I feel okay now though!
BQ: What (if anything) do you listen to when you workout? I have a running music playlist
