Federal tax victory

MH finished filling out our 2021 tax forms and we’ve finally managed to do it - our federal tax payment for 2021 is only $28. This is a vast improvement of the previous years where we’ve owed a few thousand or gotten a few thousand back in refunds. It’s actually kind of exciting knowing that we almost hit $0 in tax owed/refund expected.

That's amazing! I had it down to less than $200 for a few years, and then last year I started a job that is 100% commission. They tax the crap out of my checks and now I am getting a 6k refund. I don't have the mental energy right now to figure out how to fix that, so I will take that refund and make a down payment on my new deck
