I’m so happy with my basement paint selections! Our basement had medium-dark beige walls and “white” trim that actually had a lot of grey in it. It looked very dark and dingy. It had a ton of recessed lighting, but they were around 2500 kelvins so it was too much yellow and not bright enough. I switched out the light bulbs to 3000 kelvins, and while we kept the the same color scheme I did a warm almost off-white (BM White Dove) on the walls and a light tan trim (BM Manchester Tan). It looks SO much better. First pic is the before, second pic is the wall color (but after replacing the light bulbs which was a huge improvement) with the old “white” trim, and third pic is the new trim color. My painter still needs to finish touching up and then I’ll share a pic of the larger space. The carpeting is being replace with a tan carpet that is barely darker than the trim color.

Wow, that really brightened up that space. I love painted trim being something other than standard white. Chris Loves Julia (blog) had a very dark basement wall color at their last house and I just couldn't get into that. I'm all for bright and fresh basements.
Looks great! We had similar colors. We also had a dark-ish tan room in our basement that we just painted an ivory color, and it's a HUGE improvement for us, too!
