Friday: Off Saturday: 3.5 mile mountain bike ride. Then my rear derailleur went into my rear wheel, broke a spoke, and busted my tubeless tire tape (well, the spoke broke through it). I walked the remaining 2 miles and change back to my car. My feel are kill me. Cycling shoes are not meant for walking. Sunday: 47 mile road ride
BQ: I'm trying to make it protein smoothies again. I've gotten out of the habit of having them for breakfast, so I'm trying to find new ingredients to put in them. Any suggestions? Must go with Vanilla protein powder b/c it's the only one I like.
I had a recovery weekend long run of only 10 miles. Didn't do anything Friday or today because I'm trying to give my IT band a break. Its been acting up
PB filled pretzels have been my go to fuel while on long runs.

BQ: I seem to be buying a lot of shoes lately. Its sort of a function of being back in the office and feeling like I have nothing to wear, and realizing my feet are no longer a fan of the higher heeled booties and wedges I used to wear all the time.
