I bought a cheap wreath from Michael's or Homegoods a few years ago and keep it on my front door all winter. I think it looks ok, but it's definitely not high-quality, and it's lost a couple pine cones over the years.
I'd like one for spring/summer that's not quite so junky. Any recs on where to find one? And what's a reasonable amount to pay for something like this? I'd like it to last a while, and that doesn't seem far-fetched since I can store it flat in a dedicated tote in the basement, and we rarely open the front door, so it's not like it's being banged around much/ever. It will be sandwiched between the door and the storm door, but there's almost 4" of space there, so I think it's easy enough to find something that won't be squashed.
I'll post pics of my door in case you think color matters.
Most of mine are from Homegoods, LOL. They've lasted really well so maybe try there again for something sturdier? I'm cheap and generally don't pay more than $30.

Ours are from home goods or target. They last long enough for the price. And by the time they are done I’m ready for something new anyway. We do have a Christmas wreath from Home Depot that was more expensive.

My one from Target has held up better than my Homegoods ones.
But I'm mainly posting to say, if you get ads on facebook for really pretty looking wreaths after this post, don't take a chance from random companies and try them. I did, and though they did arrive (after like 2 months), they are SUPER cheap looking compared to what I paid for them.
I would probably go the Etsy route if I wanted something a little nicer than what Homegoods has, but I doubt they would last any longer.
Target sometimes has them with their various home decor lines. They are hit and miss on quality though. Online has more selection but also some random overpriced brands that don’t look that great and they are terrible about packing stuff well during shipping. I ordered an Easter egg wreath and it was just thrown in a big box with other stuff so the wreath was damaged along with something else. They gave me a refund but this has happened with other shipments this year too.
Ditto the stores already mentioned, it’s hit or miss but hopefully you find one. I love wreaths. I think a larger one would be lovely on your door and I would consider putting a 3m hook on your brass plate for hanging.
It's a little pricier than I would probably usually go because I bought it in the middle of an Early Pandemic Retail Therapy spending spree, but now I'm glad ... I only have three (this spring/summer, a fall one, and a winter one) and it has such an impact on the appearance of my house I think it's worth spending a little more for something you can use year after year.
Here it is on my door:
I got it two years ago and it's held up well so far...
Here's the fall one (the "Boo" in the middle is a separate decoration) ... I like the look of the bigger one but it does get pinched in the door sometimes. I think I probably got that one from Home Goods.
I really love that wreath but also don't want to spend $175. I googled and Kirkland's & Joann both have a similar wreath for $35/$30.
I was trying to buy the Kirkland one yesterday and it’s not available 🙁 I’ll have to look for the Joanns one- thanks!
Kirklands had their wreaths for 50% off yesterday. I'd just wait for them to restock. I actually bought the white tulip wreath. It looks nice! It not the highest quality but it is totally fine.
I find really nice wreaths at local home decor/interior decorating shops but they are more than I want to spend since I like to change mine out pretty often.
I know that my local Michael's always has a ton of wreaths for sale that are put together. I've never bought one because I usually end up making my own, but they are usually very pretty and less than $75.
There are a couple indie garden centers near me that make them. They can get pricy, but they'll create whatever you want in terms of size, colors and style.
Wayfair has them too. But TJ Maxx/Homegoods type stores have the best deals on decent quality wreaths. I have a storm door that covers my wreaths so they get less weather damage and last longer, plus I like to switch them up every season.
eta: my colors are actually a little different than this one, but she doesn't have my exact one anymore.
Hi! Just wanted to let you know I ordered a custom wreath from this shop based on your recommendation. I've seen pictures of the half-finished product and am thrilled. Can't wait to see it in person! I'll plan to post a pic, and meanwhile, thank you so much for the recommendation.

Pilsy, I love it! I have one very similar - Basically, I just love that design and I have several in a variety of colors to take me through the year. I just can't get enough of them.
