I bought these wood flowers, but I didn't realize that they didn't come with stems -- I guess the picture just shows that you can stick them on scent diffusors (which I don't use). Any suggestions for where in the craft store I would find something suitable to just stick them on?

At a craft store you could buy other faux flowers which a generally very cheap, cut the flower off and glue on yours. If you want more of a monochrome look, you can use a kraft paper straw or a bamboo straw.

Wood skewers from the grocery store would be the easiest and cheapest to get. Otherwise you could look for wood dowels at either a craft or home store.
Of course, if you like the look of the displayed flowers, you can get the same thing (plain rattan sticks/reed diffuser refills). You can find them online or in craft stores.
You could also try floral wire if you want a different look (wool felt flowers are often used with that, you should have no trouble finding examples).
