Counters and sink are done! Appliances and plumbing will be done on Monday. I’ll be able to cook again!

We signed on in April. Demo’d/ had the hardwoods added to the kitchen area the week before Christmas (because original start date was week after Christmas), but construction didn’t start until the last week in January. Everything that could be done was finished the 3rd week in February. We refinished our hardwoods then, and were just waiting on the counters, which actually were ready sooner than we expected. Aside from the flaky first designer/project manager (who had left the company and screwed up a few things on us), everything has been really easy with this company. I am hoping we will be done in the next couple of weeks.

We went with a design/build company so the only other sourcing we had to do was for the floors. Demand and supply chain delays were what took so long to start after we signed.

dr.girlfriend Yes. It goes between the two other uppers and sits on the counter.
