I got a text this afternoon saying I’m eligible for my next booster (first one was in October). Did they change the rules? I’d like to get another but I’m only 44 - I thought it was 50+

Are you talking about the text from v-safe?
That’s just a generic text based on when you got your first 2 shots. There is no age requirement for the 1st booster.

That’s just a generic text based on when you got your first 2 shots. There is no age requirement for the 1st booster.

I got the same text, I went into Vsafe and they didn't have my booster data so I put it in.

Got it. I never entered my booster in to vsafe, so it doesn’t know I ever got it. I’m sure it’s just a glitch in the system if it’s telling you to get another booster since you entered the first one. I think it’s pretty general and not super personalized (like doesn’t know if people have immunocompromised conditions for example).

I’ve been sick with a cold for a week now, and have been testing at home every day, all negative. So many around us are sick too! I felt validated to see AK’s post right at the top. Boo.

I know the tests could be wrong, and staying home when you’re sick with anything is clearly the right thing to do, so I’m hoping I kick it this weekend because I’m bored!

My 94 year old fully vaxxed grandma tested positive for covid yesterday. Thankfully she's asymptomatic so far. She made it more than 2 years without catching covid while living in a nursing home. I feel so bad for her being isolated in her room without the ability to use her tv or radio and limited ability to use her phone thanks to dementia.

ETA: I have a bad cold as well Mushe . Today is the first day since Monday that I got dressed and feel halfway human. All my at home tests are negative. I'm waiting on pcr results but I'm guessing it's negative as H's pcr was negative just a few days ago.

Me too.  I got excited for a second, but apparently they didn't know about my booster.

I just got over my 3rd? 4th? cold over the past few months. Tests were always negative. This was the first chest cold I’ve had since before COVID. The others were all head colds. I forgot how much it can hurt to cough, and this one honestly wasn’t even that bad as I only had one day where I felt lousy enough to lay on the couch most of the day.

My GPA has Covid again. The first time (Dec) he ended up hospitalized multiple times. Now he has it again. He's been boosted multiple times. Bummer but I don't think he'll change his (general) plans to live life until he dies. My mom and uncle are trying to convince him not to go on a planned European cruise this fall though.

Well, I tested positive this morning. It was a nice 25+ month run.

I knew it yesterday - I ran an errand on foot (1 mile round trip) and was completely winded when I got home. Spent all day on the couch recovering, but tested negative. Tested again this morning and it was positive right away. It’s disconcerting to not be able to breathe in deeply.

Everyone else in my household is neg so far. I’m attempting to isolate, but it’s probably in vein.
