Still plugging along on Empire of Pain. I should finish today. Then it’s onto something lighter.
QOTW: I like to walk, hike, observe wildlife, forest bathe (don’t get to do that enough!!!). I want to pick up trash later today. Hoping I can enlist my toddler’s help and teach her about taking care of the environment.
I’m reading The Kaiju Preservation Society by John Scalzi, which someone here recommended. It is a lot of fun.
QOTW: Almost anything that involves water (though I don’t much enjoy kayaking — canoeing and paddleboards are great, though), hiking, lazy birdwatching, just sitting outside and reading.
I’m reading The Paris Apartment and I’m not enjoying it. I’m about 30% in. Does it get better? Will I care about the characters or the apartment? I also have a nice fluff read, Hook, Line and Sinker.
QOTW: I like to walk and swim. I’m a new runner but I don’t love running outside yet. My favorite outdoor activity is day drinking lol.

I'm still chipping away at "The Last Thing He Told Me" and "Smile and Look Pretty". Hoping to get through a lot of reading this weekend as a lot of holds have come up.
QOTW: I like to swim, and walk a little bit. I tried kayaking last summer and enjoyed it, and loved rowing a boat when I was younger (no access now). It doesn't count, but I love sitting outside at a brewery, or eating outdoors.
The Diamond Eye by Kate Quinn, 4* and The Nineties by Chuck Klosterman (it was not at all like what the early review I read had made it seem), 2*.
I should finish The Broken Girls by Simone St James tonight. Next I plan on reading Cemetery Road by Greg Iles (another book that I picked up from a recommendation).
Qotw: My family loves hiking. I love snow skiing and white water rafting. I cannot wait to take our kids now that they are older. I always wanted to learn to paddle board, but haven't gotten around to it.

I read Cleopatra's Dagger and The Wrath and the Dawn this week, and started The Golem and the Jinni.
QOTW: What outdoor activities do you enjoy? (Happy earth day!) Running and hiking. And although I don't consider myself especially cat-like, I do enjoy lying in sunny patches.
I just started listening to Lincoln Highway and started reading Interior Chinatown. Not invested in either one yet tho.
QOTW: Hiking, snowshoeing, some biking, puttering around the yard/gardening, reading, yurt or cabin camping (we do some tent camping but I don’t love it). In the current severe wind in CO, absolutely nothing!
