Weekend Workouts - April 24

What did everyone do this weekend?

BQ: Tell us something about yourself we didn't know. H&F or otherwise. You don't have to get too personal (ex. maybe you cook great burgers on the grill).

Friday: Off
Saturday: 30 mile dusty gravel ride
Sunday: 40 mile road ride

BQ: I can sing. I spent many years in chorus including 3 as a soloist and a short stint in the church choir.

Friday - 5 mile run
Saturday - was supposed to swim but my pool was closed. grrr. washed and waxed the boat. (this is a workout!)
Sunday - 5 mile trail run. finished waxing the boat.

BQ - I used to have a motorcycle.

S: half marathon

BQ: Every person I've ever dated was in a band when we met (I have a type lol)

Mostly punk and rock. My first long term boyfriend was nominated for a Grammy, and his prior band still plays the main stage at Warped Tour most years.
DH hasn't toured in years and his band was never popular in the US, but they still have a cult following in Eastern Europe lol.

Friday- 2.5 mile walk
Saturday- Does lots of dancing at a Bon Jovi Tribute show count?
Sunday- I walked a bunch, but didn't track.

I saw scm1011 and her husband at the half marathon they ran! I went to surprise a friend and saw them at the finish.

BQ- The only reason I decided to start playing the trumpet was because my best friend did and I wanted to spend more time with him.

Fri: 5 mile walk with a friend
Sat: 5 mile treadmill run
Sun: 5.5 outdoor run (was supposed to be 10 miles, but I cut it short due to ankle pain)

BQ: I started college at age 16.

Fri - nothing legit but I picked up trash in my neighborhood for a little bit for Earth Day
Sat - ran 10 miles, walked 1 mi
Sun - swam 72 laps

BQ - I mentored a Girl Scout in my neighborhood who got recognition tonight for her Gold Award. That was pretty cool.
