The Great Replacement Theory

I'm seeing lots of chatter about this old racist/anti-Semitic trope and how it's gaining popularity on right-wing media and politicians.  I was shocked that 1/3 people polled believed some form elements of replacement theory.  I feel like the racists are getting more racist or vocal or unashamed of being racist....and  more violent/lethal.

In April of last year, he said on Fox News that people from the “Third World” are immigrating to the United States “to replace the current electorate” and “dilute the political power of the people who live there” — language that essentially distills the replacement thesis.



He was more explicit in a video posted on Fox News’s YouTube account in September. Carlson said President Biden was encouraging immigration “to change the racial mix of the country, … to reduce the political power of people whose ancestors lived here, and dramatically increase the proportion of Americans newly arrived from the Third World.”

I really really hate these people. They are such shit pigs. Everything is about power. They see everything through that lens - heaven forbid just being nice and trying to take care of people in need.

And it’s frightening that these asshats are gaining so much power and support.

They aren't necessarily wrong, I would love to replace every last one of them with people who want to come to this country, live their lives and not judge other people. They are so vile.
