We want to take a vacation that's not to the beach and we were talking about going to Niagra Falls. We'd like to stay on the Canadian side, but the place with the most things to do and see would be great.
How hot and humid is it in July?
Anyone recommend a place to stay where there is a lot to do? We would be driving, so we could do an AirBnB or a hotel.

I went at the end of July in 2011 for a day trip to the Canadian side and it was hot and humid. Maybe upper 80s? It was overcast and breezy that day though so we were still fine to be outside all day. We just walked around, did Maid of the Mist and ate at a restaurant that overlooked the Falls. It was a lot of fun.
We were in the Finger Lakes for a wedding so we just drove to the Falls but what was shocking to me was that a lot of places up there didn't have air conditioning. I live near Nola, so I'm used to summer heat, but we also have AC everywhere so this was an adjustment to stay at a B&B that didn't have ac in the main areas (or the church where the wedding was, etc).
All that to say- if you do an Airbnb, just make sure it has AC!!
