I find it very good that schools are even raising money for outside organizations. Our school only raises money for itself lol.
Even orgs that actively work against the rights of women?
I'd rather they fund almost anything beyond CPCs. I feel it's dismissive to say go buy some crayons and tissues, but, well, teachers are already being asked to do that with their own funds. Go buy something your kids need, not some CPC propaganda bullshit. Funding themselves at least is productive.

Oh no! I meant to type odd! Ha ha. I think it is ODD that schools are doing fundraisers for outside organizations.
Our school will sometimes collect things to give to local organizations like bandaids for Noah's Bandaid Project and household stuff for a local organization that many district families utilize. Sometimes old books. But money raising is all for the school.

Same for my DS' school. In the fall they did a sock drive for our local homeless org and in the winter did a winter gear drive for students in his school without winter attire/means to get it.

FFRF emailed me today with a copy of the letter they sent via email & snail mail to the superintendent about the Constitutional violation that occurred, outlined (with citations) why it's a violation, and asked her to respond in writing about steps taken to remedy this concern AND ensure it will not happen again.
Considering making copies and slipping them into the mailboxes of the School Board members. The letter doesn't identify me, just says a "concerned parent in the district" contacted them.
