I’m still struggling hard 2 weeks post Covid. My labored breathing is slowing me down and cutting runs short. It’s really frustrating and makes me question whether I can start training for a fall marathon next month.
Friday- 8 mile run Saturday- 2 mile walk Sunday-1 mile walk
scm1011, Sorry to hear you're struggling. Do you feel you lost what you built up from your half training? I hope it comes back to you quickly so you can marathon train.
Fri - nothing Sat - ran 4 mi, swam 40 laps Sun - nothing
Work and volunteering are kicking my ass right now. Things should ease up a little pretty soon, hopefully. Thanks for mentioning the peanut butter sadlebred. I meant to say something here if someone else didn’t first since we were all raving about it last week!

Yes, I'm struggling to run 2 miles at a 10:30 pace when I ran a half easily at a 9:30 pace 5 days before I tested positive. I'm hoping if I keep at it things will improve - I have a month before I really need to worry!
Friday-nothing Saturday 5 miles easy Sunday 5 miles easy
Heat and humidity have been kicking my butt this past week but things have cooled off a bit here so I'm glad to have a break for a few days! scm1011, I hope things get better for you soon!

Fri: 30 min walk Sat: 30 min peloton cycle Sun: some yoga, but not much
I'm having another episode of low back pain where I get muscle tightness/spasms and lots of pain, so not much exercise is happening at the moment. I've been having this occasionally over the last 3 years. Finally made a doctor appointment. I guess I have flat back syndrome and some disc degeneration I will start PT but its frustrating to know this is something I will be dealing with forever. I've been so good at stretching and yoga lately, too!
scm1011 I'm sorry. It took me a while to get back to where I was before having covid. It did happen though.
breezy8407, I am having issues with my back too. I was prescribed a muscle relaxer that seemed to help a bit as well as some specific exercises to do. I hope you get some relief soon! PT can be so helpful; but definitely annoying as well.
breezy8407, good to know - thanks! Sorry to hear about the back and disc issues, that's frustrating. Maybe it would be worse without all the yoga and stretching you've been doing? In any case, I hope PT helps.

scm1011, melmel48 Thank you both. I did get an Rx for a muscle relaxer, so that should help. I was thinking about yoga. Its totally possible I am doing too much or positions that are not favorable. I hope the PT can help me with figuring that out.
