I started taking my temp this week. I don't get up at the same time every day but I figure I'll keep it within an hour more or less of 8am.
But this morning I woke up at 6:30, not on purpose. I took my temp but stayed in bed for another 1/2 hour (which would fall into my more ideal window time). There was a .1 degree difference.
Which one would you record?
Also, winecherry, like you said...this stuff is fascinating to learn and see how much you can figure out about your body!

Isn't it though? I might have to start actual charting next cycle (if there IS one...dun dun duuuuun!) because it's so interesting to refer back to that graph and all the "data" to support what might be happening with your body while ttc.
Of course, there's soooo many factors that affect temps, and so much you can read into even worse than with checking cm or something, I fear with my personality i might eventually do more harm than good. But for now I'm really interested, and enjoying how meticulously you can keep records of your cycle!
I'd go with the first one, but really a .1 difference won't be noticeable on your chart. My temps usually vary day to day (preO and then postO) by almost a full degree. My CD1 to CD7 temps now vary by .7, so .1 is still in that range.
