Just thought I'd give feedback as a new-ish (august 2021) Chase Sapphire Preferred card holder / Ultimate Rewards Travel Portal. I still had my annual $50 hotel credit so I decided to use the system to book a hotel for our car trip to Disney using cash + points. After the $50 reward and points the hotel was only about $30 so I figured what the heck. Well, we caught Covid and had to rebook our trip for July. The hotel room was non-refundable but I figured I'd call Chase anyway. I went through Chase vs the hotel and they really offered concierge level service. They called the hotel and negotiated a cancellation and rebooking on my behalf and then took care of the rebooking without me having to lift a finger. The phone wait time was a bit long but the service made up for it. Glad I asked!
