A good friend of mine is in Canada and just had a baby so now she has 3 girls under age 4. I'd like to send her something as I haven't sent her anything since she had her first baby. If she and her husband can enjoy it, even better. For reference, she sent me a cashmere blanket when DD was born and a giant Edible Arrangements when I got sick. They have everything money could buy so I'd like it to be something they maybe can't get in Canada. For example, I've heard there are no Targets in Canada and for a while when I followed some Disney Store pages, the Canadians complained a lot that they couldn't order from the Shop Disney website. I also know shipping from the US to Canada is ridiculous so if the company offers shipping that would be nice. Otherwise I may be able to have my brother mail it from Ontario or I'd just suck it up and pay it myself.
I’ve ordered from here. It was for their second kid so I did some nice swaddle blankets for the baby and then some of our favorite books for the older child.
There isn't a lot that we can't get here, it just takes longer to ship or costs more. There are two sites I shop at for baby gifts and free shipping across canada:
I don't know where in Canada they are, but there are often really nice local brands that will ship throughout Canada but aren't widely known outside of their base province. These 2 are BC based (I have a Tofino Towel throw and it is gorgeous):
