Well, of course everyone told orange foolious how elections worked and that he lost. Rudy was drunk, Sydney Powell is loony and testified under oath that of course no one should believe her, per the Dominion lawsuit. Everyone else here is busy covering their ass, especially Bill Barr.
What was with the wink from the guy from Fox at the end of his testimony?

I’m halfway in and Sidney Powell with the algorithm to change votes and Trump’s bigly number of votes breaking the algorithm. 🥴 These are not the arguments of sane people.

So DT kept bringing up X allegation and moving to Y allegation and then Z allegation as his people dispelled each one. I have questions. Where was he getting these allegations/“reports”— Trumpers in the public? Google? Breitbart? And did he really believe them, or was insisting on them all just part of his conspiracy for a coup?

Ok, so I appreciate Pak (GA) and Schmidt (PA) who clearly took all this very gravely. They noted Schmidt is the sole Republican on the city council, I believe. Trumpers threatened each member of his family by individual name and age. These are the people he’s hitched himself to by being a Republican. Does this change one’s mind? Also appreciate Bill Barr too— he comes off as someone who just keeps it real. I don’t have mad respect for him or anything, same with Pence, but I appreciate their just honoring the process and not riding the crazy elevator all the way to the bottom. The SOS from GA that DT commanded to find votes tho- that guy I really respect because he was squaring off personally with someone in an extreme position of power.

😑 Garland can do it with or without their referral but come the hell on here.
In comments to reporters late Monday, Rep. Bennie Thompson (D., Miss.), chairman of the committee, cast doubt on whether it would make a criminal referral to the Justice Department. “We’re going to tell the facts,” Mr. Thompson said. “If the Department of Justice looks at it and sees something that needs further review, I’m sure they’ll do it,” he said, adding that a criminal referral is “not our job.”
Other committee members pushed back. Vice Chairwoman Liz Cheney (R., Wyo.) tweeted that the committee “has not issued a conclusion regarding potential criminal referrals.” Rep. Elaine Luria (D., Va.) tweeted that the committee “has yet to vote on whether we will recommend criminal referrals to the Department of Justice,” adding that it is the committee’s responsibility to report criminal activity to the Justice Department.
Rep. Adam Schiff (D., Calif.) said during an interview on CNN that while he was unaware of Mr. Thompson’s statement, “I don’t know that the committee has reached a position on whether we make a referral or what the referrals might be. I thought we were deferring that decision until we concluded our investigation.”
But some good news, the PAC that went after Cawthorne is going after Boebert. Maybe we can get rid of her too (although there are plenty of crazies now to take her place)
lawyer advising President Donald J. Trump claimed in an email after Election Day 2020 to have insight into a “heated fight” among the Supreme Court justices over whether to hear arguments about the president’s efforts to overturn his defeat at the polls, two people briefed on the email said.
The lawyer, John Eastman, made the statement in a Dec. 24, 2020, exchange with a pro-Trump lawyer and Trump campaign officials over whether to file legal papers that they hoped might prompt four justices to agree to hear an election case from Wisconsin.
“So the odds are not based on the legal merits but an assessment of the justices’ spines, and I understand that there is a heated fight underway,” Mr. Eastman wrote, according to the people briefed on the contents of the email. Referring to the process by which at least four justices are needed to take up a case, he added, “For those willing to do their duty, we should help them by giving them a Wisconsin cert petition to add into the mix.”
The House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol has obtained email correspondence between Virginia “Ginni” Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, and lawyer John Eastman, who played a key role in efforts to pressure Vice President Mike Pence to block the certification of Joe Biden’s victory, according to three people involved in the committee’s investigation.
