I finished The Winemaker's Wife and started The Naked Don't Fear the Water: An Underground Journey with Afghan Refugees by Matthieu Aikins.

QOTW: Surprisingly, no. I have had some bad accidents and taken a couple bad falls, but have not broken anything. *knock on wood*

I had a few books I started and couldn’t get into! Finished:

Tell Me Everything: The Story of a Private Investigation by Erika Krouse (this was a lot)

Counterfeit by Kirstin Chen (cute)

See You Yesterday by Rachel Lynn Solomon (eh)


QOTW: Nope!

I finished Gold Diggers by Sanjena Sathian, which was ok, and One of Us is Lying by Karen M. McManus, which I enjoyed for a quick YA read. Now reading The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller — I like it a lot, but I’m not sure yet why it has so many amazing reviews.

QOTW: I broke a bone in my foot in 5th grade — full knee-high cast and crutches for that back then.

I’m reading Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover and listening to A Beautiful Mystery by Louise Penny.

QOTW: I have not. Rarely if ever sprained anything either. I have Gumby limbs.

- Book Lovers: it was a rom-com that made fun of rom-com books. I rated it a 4 but it could easily be a 2.

- The Lincoln Highway: 4. I loved it until the last 3 pages. I really need to talk about this one.

- I’m almost done with Speak by Tunde (peloton instructor). 5 stars.

- I’m also reading Echo Chamber. It’s so funny. I have to steal moments to read it but when I do, I really enjoy it.

Finished Mary Jane which I really enjoyed. Started The Rose and the Dagger and Big Summer.
