Daily Harvest recall

I’m curious if you or anyone you know have been impacted by this. I have, and although I’ve fortunately not had to lose an organ, I’ve been ill with similar symptoms for a week, and just got results back with ny liver enzymes being over 3x the normal level. Ultrasound and more tests scheduled as well as follow ups with a specialist. It’s wild.

If you do get Daily Harvest deliveries, don’t eat any of it, as some others have also reported similar symptoms who ate other products that aren’t the crumbles.

Aflatoxin or something similar is what some are suspect. NYT has more in their article

I'm so sorry. I have read a few articles on it and it sounds horribly painful and unnerving. I hope you recover quickly.

I'm so sorry to hear this. A couple of years ago, I was eating Daily Harvest regularly. I ended up throwing out many of the packages because they didn't make me feel good. I have a very sensitive stomach overall, and I generally haven't had any luck with any of the pre-packaged meal delivery services, so it isn't related to the current issue. However, your issue sounds incredibly serious, and I hope that you feel better soon and they get to the bottom of things asap.
