“With sorrow—for this Court, but more, for the many millions of American women who have today lost a fundamental constitutional protection—we dissent,”
Ok douche, go ahead and call it mud. My husband DID have halitosis. We addressed it after I talked to you girls on here and guess what? Years later, no problem. Mofongo, you're a cunt. Eat shit. ~anonnamus
I'm just here for the recommendations, but my pro-tip is that if you don't have the space or funds to buy a bunch of cookbooks, check your library. I'm super lucky and my library system is great, and now thanks to everyone in this thread, I have a whole slew of cookbooks on hold. Thanks!

Yep. Most of my recent cooking jaunts have been with cookbooks from the library. I rarely stick with one cuisine for more than a few months. The library has always had anything I've wanted.
Not a blog, but the cookbook Rasika (from the restaurant in DC with the same name) is fantastic.
It's not just one of my favorite restaurants, it's one of the Obamas I still dream of that cardamom ice cream. I realize that's a fairly polarizing spice, but I adore it.
I don't have it anywhere near me at the moment, but I got a cookbook in Vancouver, BC (not Vij, although I ate there. Yum!) where it was blog style in its simplifying of recipes. We don't all have a spice cabinet of 30 spices just for our garam masala. I'll see if I can get the person with access to it to send me the title.
Even if you’re not vegan, her recipes are delicious. I’m not vegan, but use her cookbooks regularly and just substitute in the meats my kids/H want to eat.

I've found recipes wildly vary based on the region of India the author is familiar with. I made several things that just didn't seem to turn out right and ended up asking the owners of my favorite Indian restaurant what area their recipes are from. Turns out I like Northern Indian food. Now I try to add that to my Google search when looking recipes up.
