SCOTUS agrees to hear case about elections

Sooooooo I've been a broken record about how post-2024 is going to be an absolute shitshow no matter who wins the POTUS election and this case will almost certainly be the reason for that.

Since I expect the SCOTUS to side with the bad guys again, this will mean state legislatures will have alllllll the power over federal elections.

Ezra Klein's podcast today has me broken....it's sooooo bad, even worse than we realize. They are actively trying to make government fail, our society can't function if SCOTUS takes away all power from agencies, elections, individuals, minorities.

We need to start talking about SCOTUS as broken, unaccountable, illegitimate, corrupt, and in the middle of a judicial coup.

Burn it down....pack the court, drop the filibuster, whatever it takes.

Where has checks and balances gone? The SC is holding the country and democracy hostage. There are lifetime appointed unelected officials that are actively trying to dismantle America with what seems like absolute power. Is that not treasonous? Are justices impeachable?

Yes justices can be impeached and removed. I doubt that’ll happen though.
