We have a (new to us) really rustic guest cottage and want to slap some paint on the brown fiberboard walls before some family comes stay there. It's super old and rooms don't get a ton of light. What is a good basic white paint that leans a tiny bit warm but isn't yellow? Like a neutral, soft, creamy white? DH literally wants to stop at the hardware store and pick something up. We won't have a lot of time to test colors or anything, nor does it matter if it's perfect. This place will eventually be a building site for something new, but the walls are So BAD right now that we want a quick remedy.

We painted a very dark room (formerly pine paneled) Benjamin Moore Sand Dollar and love it. It's very bright now that we put in recessed lighting as well (and even more so once we opened up the right-hand wall into our new addition but that's a whole other story).
We used Behr in Sleek White for the majority of our house. Most of our windows are east facing so I wanted something that was slightly warm, but still white. It perfect for our space. No yellowness, but still warmer than plain white.
I have painted lots of things SW Alabaster -- interior walls, exterior trim, kitchen cabinets, laundry room cabinets... every time I've been happy with it.

In the rooms that get a lot of natural light, I have BM White Dove (and I really like it!). It was too stark of a white for the rooms that don’t get a lot of natural light, so in those rooms I have BM Swiss Coffee.
I just realized this might be a good example. Our guest bath is Alabaster and then the ceiling is ceiling white (which is like pure, bright white). Here’s how it looks side-by-side. There’s also a white porcelain planter to show contrast against bright white.
