I went to Florida public universities for undergrad and grad school and never felt like any of my professors were overly biased one way or the other. At the time I even identified as conservative and came from a family who played Rush Limbaugh on the radio while driving me home from school, I was primed to suss out "liberal bias" and never really saw any. And I got my degrees in history and library science, historians and librarians are some of the most lefty people in any university!

I also have an MA in history from a private liberal arts college and those professors were very openly liberal, like saying in a seminar "I know we all believe in the Bolshevik cause..." It was wild to me after attending school at the University of Florida.

Anyway, this all makes me sick. It is so terrifying and current college students are being used as chess pieces. I hope faculties resist as much as possible; I know I would because I'm sure I'd be doing everything possible to get a job in another state anyway.
