no annual fee credit card recs

what credit cards with no annual fee do you love?  what are the best perks?

My airline card is up for renewal of the fee and we have moved to somewhere that airline doesn't service so I'm looking to find a better option.  Would prefer a cash back type card and not an airline card.

I put almost everything on my credit card and pay it off each month.

I have a Chase Freedom card that has no annual fee.  I admit I partly keep it because it's like 20 years old, so I don't want to close it.  But it has categories that give 5% back that rotate each quarter.  Tracking that is a pain, but some of them are pretty good (e.g. gas stations).  I particularly like that I can use the Chase Freedom for the 5% categories, then transfer the points to my Chase Sapphire Preferred (which does have an annual fee) to aggregate them.

I have an American Express Blue Cash card. I love it. You get 1% back on gas, groceries, and drugstore purchases and .5% back on everything else, until you have spent $4500 total. Then it goes up to 5% back on the first 3 categories and 1% for everything else. The $4500 resets annually.

Since I use this card for literally everything I buy and then just pay it off, we hit the $4500 pretty quickly.

It's easy to just use the cash to pay off your bill at any point. You can cash in as soon as you have $25 accumulated.

They've been amazing with fraud, scams, etc. I've had my number stolen so many times and they're quick to help out. I've also been able to successfully dispute charges every time I've tried, and they're really quick about it.

Citi double cash is the easier - 2% cashback. DH and I also have 5% rotating category cards. His is Discover and I have the Chase Freedom one. They're both decent.

Citi and Wells Fargo are 2% for everything. I have the freedom and ready only use it when the 5% quarterly is something good.

Not exactly cash back, but we have an Amazon card. We save points all year then do a big chunk of our Xmas shopping at Amazon. It feels like cash back that way!
