I got through all but 5 pages of "Verity" by Colleen Hoover this weekend. Fell asleep last night so I'll finish tonight (Monday)
I also started "Last Night at the TeleGraph Club" which I hope is going to be a great read.
QOTW: I just found "Out of this World" on Youtube and would love to stream that. I'd also vote original (they tried to make it a graphic novel) Rainbow Brite because she's my all time favorite.
I finished Acts of Violet, which was fine but not great, and am now reading Kaleidoscope by Cecily Wong— it’s very good so far. Also reading Jodi Picoult’s Book of Two Ways. It’s just ok and not keeping my attention, so I keep setting it aside for better options.
QOTW: Ed! I loved that show and would love to see how it holds up. Also Northern Exposure — I don’t think it’s streaming anywhere.
I finished The Vanished Days by Susanna Kearsley over the weekend. I struggled to get into it but thought the book was fine until the end. She felt the need to throw in a stupid twist that I absolutely hated both in terms of the story and just on principle. It makes me hesitant to read any future books by her.
QOTW: There are a few late 90s shows I would like to stream but Millennium has the most likelihood of actually happening.

Listening to Tracy Flick Can't Win and I finished The Summer Place.
QOTW: If you could request one T.V. show or movie return to a streaming service what would it be? Firefly. Although I do own the boxed set, so it's not like I can't watch it whenever...
I just read Any Dream will Do by Debbie Macomber. It was based on my mother-in-law's recommendation. Her recommendations are usually good, but this book was awful. I have no idea how this author is a bestseller so many times over. Right before that I read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and I loved that book, a rare five star for me. I'm currently reading Ethics in the Real World by Peter Singer. It's a slow read, but it's divided into 86 essays, so it's easy to read a little at a time. I think the author is maybe a little condescending in general and especially towards religion, but he IS making me think, so that's good.
DD and I watched Inkmasters season 3 and 4 on Netflix. I wish I could see the rest of the seasons.
