Food & Wine Festival

I’ll be tagging along to Orlando with my husband in august for a conference. I’m thinking of taking a day by myself and heading to Epcot and saw that the festival is going on.

It will be a Tuesday, end of Aug. am I crazy? Ha.

Also, are there additional things you have to purchase besides the food to enjoy?

This is a brilliant plan, you should totally do it. One of my favorite trips with DH was a long weekend trip where we spent one day at Epcot just to do the F&W Festival. I would for sure go by myself, though. And going on a Tuesday at the end of August shouldn't be super busy, as there are a lot of schools back in session by then, and it's not a weekend day.

I don't think we had to buy anything else besides the food to enjoy it. I would recommend looking at the menus before you go and put together a rough plan of what you want to eat and drink and think about how you might want to space things out so you don't get too full in a short amount of time.

I've never been to a theme park by myself, are there single rider lines?

The only one in Epcot that I’m aware of is for Test Track.

We went last year - it’s was fun, but also pouring, lol. Lots of fun treats and the merch is cute. Enjoy your visit!

I was there 2 weeks ago and did the single rider line on test track 3 times in a row. The wait was seriously like 5 minutes. I do think that was the only single rider line I recall seeing though.

The new Ratatouille ride was really cute and fun.
