Nothing. I had surgery on Wed. I walked around a lot on Sat. running errands in the AC. I went to the suburban market/farmer's market today to find tomatos and some other yummy things. I'm sleeping if that counts.

SO hot!
Friday: 5 mile run
Saturday: 20 mile run with a friend. We ran through rock creek park in DC, down to the Lincoln Memorial and along the Mall to the Capitol building, and then back to our starting point. It’s one of my favorite routes, which helped keep my mind off of the heat and humidity.
Sunday: Cycling on the Peloton, a walk outside, some strength, and a little bit of yoga/stretching.
BQ: I tend to run hot generally, so exercising in the heat is a disaster for me. I have to slow down and go by effort. And I drink a lot of water.

Fri: rest Sat: 14 treadmill miles. It was hot, humid, and storming so it was the only way to get it done. Ugh. Sun: 4 outdoor steamy miles.
BQ: thus far, we’ve hit 100° all but like 4 days this month. And the “feels like” temp is even higher. I’m dying. This will be the last fall marathon I train for while living here. It’s just miserable. Todays 4 miles was fine, but by the time I started at 9am it was already 90°! And I hate complaining about it, bc I much prefer summer to winter, but seriously it’s too much this summer.
Living in Georgia, you just get used to it or I'm not riding outside for about 3-4 months of the year during prime DST. Lots of water, a sports drink (cycling specific-NOT Gatorade) on rides over 2 hours), and at least one stop in the shade of it's a gravel riding.
Fri - nothing Sat - weights and bike at the gym with my older daughter, and later I danced my butt off at a concert in three inch wedges, which had to count for something! 😛 Sun - ran 4 mi
I’m staying inside mostly so the heat isn’t unbearable. It’s doing wonders for my little garden patch though - so much crazy growth in the last few weeks. I’ll be eating tomato and cucumber salads for many days ahead. There are even baby watermelons going, which I have never done before and am so thrilled about!
BQ: I kinda ignore pace, drink a lot of water (before/during/after), wear loose and light clothes. The sun really kills me so I try to do trail or shady road running.
Fri: 3 mile run and strength Sat: 16ish mile outdoor bike. I had to change my route because my DD's softball game got moved up. Of course when H called to tell me I was at the furthest point from my house. Sun: 20 minute walk, and a lot of watching softball!
BQ: It was really hot the last couple weeks. I usually stay inside when it gets that unbearable. Riding outside in the heat doesn't bother me as much.
