I have wavy hair starting at the root with a tendency to frizz. Colored due to grey and highlights. I believe I have some damage from the highlights and then using heat in the front has added to the damage for some breakage there. I have been using Olaplex 3 and it has improved the texture of the all around highlighted hair and the front doesn’t look quite so….bad at the ends. It looks healthier and I know it hasn’t broken anymore. I will buy more when I run out. I use it once a week and the bottle has lasted 6 weeks with probably 2 weeks to go. (My hair is a bit below my jawline). I am curious to hear if others like the shampoo and conditioner.
I think it is definitely worth it. But I get it at a discount bc my neighbor is a stylist. It’s way better than anything else I’ve ever used but it is very expensive and I can’t say if I’d pay full price.
I have terrible hair. Thin, dull, damaged, super fine with lots of breakage that’s prone to greasiness at the root. Super hot. I am currently growing out my overprocessed hair bc I can’t take how bad it was looking.
Right now I’m using Kirkland shampoo and conditioner. The ones in the big purple and big white containers. I wash about every 2-3 days. Once a month I use a Pureology deep conditioner. I use Curlsmith leave in conditioner, either Deva Curl or Oidad gel and either Oidad mousse or Aquage uplifting foam at my roots. After I dry I use an argon oil to get rid of the crunchiness. I have newly found curly hair so I’m trying all sort of new products all the time.

Olaplex is overrated IMO. The no 3 is just ok for me. The shampoo is awful, very thick texture, weighed my hair down and made it greasy. The conditioner is nice enough. The standout product for me is no 6, the leave in blow dry cream. Makes my hair very soft, and it smells fantastic.
My holy grail products are the amika Flash hair mask and the Wizard primer blow dry spray. I’m also a huge fan of Shu Uemura urban moisture conditioner, but it is very $$$.

I have fine, color treated hair that needs a lot of product to look decent. It's mostly straight but only curly in some spots/weird ways. I used R&Co Dallas for a long time and felt like it made it look a bit ticker but also dried it out. My stylist recommended Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil shampoo and conditioner and I love it. Still gives some volume but doesn't dry it out and it feels healthier. When it's wet, I use Bumble and Bumble UV Protective Primer on the middle and ends, and thickening spray on the roots (I have R&Co and Nick Chavez and like both), then blow dry. A little salt spray once it's dry but before I style it (I let it dry before styling so I don't fry my hair).
I have wavy hair. Fine but I have a TON of it. Loves to frizz. In the winter I flat iron every day, summer I leave it wavy and air dry. I get it colored every 4-6 weeks (going very gray!)
I use Bumble and Bumble mostly. The “Bond Building” shampoo and conditioner work really well for me. Hairdressers invisible oil is also a standby.
I started using Jennifer Anniston’s hair line (LolaVie) a few months ago and also really like them. There are only 2 products - a de tangler and a leave in conditioner. They have been great for my “summer hair”/air drying/beachy waves look
I like the Olaplex 3, but wasn't super impressed with the shampoo and conditioner. It wasn't terrible. I got it in a set that came with the #3. I wouldn't rebuy. I love the Olaplex #6 and #7. 6 is smoothing cream (love it for when I air dry my hair to smooth out the frizz after it's dry) and 7 is a hair oil. A little goes a long way and it makes my hair super smooth and shiny. I usually mix a small dab of 6 with a couple drops of 7.
My stylist recently switched to K18 instead of Olaplex in the salon and my hair loves it. I might try the leave in treatment. It's expensive, but I've heard rave reviews.

I haven't used Olaplex, so I can't give any feedback there.
I have fine hair that tends to be oily, so I wash my hair everyday. I use a few different brands. One of my favorites is Mineral Fusion Volumizing shampoo & conditioner. I also like NatureLab Toyko Volume shampoo & conditioner, and I also like the Blowout Jelly.
I have wavy/curly medium length hair. It's pretty thick although it's thinner lately due to hair loss from thyroid issues. I've started to get some grays so I color/highlight. I also straighten it semi-regularly. Frizz and dryness can be an issue for me. I use Redken All Soft shampoo which I've been liking. I go back and forth with curly styling products but usually use a curl cream and gel. Right now I have Not Your Mothers. I use Amika sometimes as well. The hair product I'm most loyal to is the Ouai hair oil. It takes the frizz out, is light weight and doesn't look greasy.
I have thin hair, but I have a ton of it, and it's naturally curly but I blow it out. I used Pureology in the purple bottle for 15 year, then moved to Orbe in the green bottle last year. My hair is changing as I get older and the Orbe works better with my hair now. I also use their hair oil to smooth it out when I blow dry, and just a tad of the straightening cream.
I have coarse, shoulder-length, wavy hair that I straighten daily with a blow dryer and occasionally a straightener. I also color it every 8-10 weeks to cover up greys. My go-to shampoo has been Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil for a long time, though I'll occasionally use their Surf Shampoo if my hair is feeling lifeless. Moroccan Oil has been a game-changer for me, and it makes my hair softer, shinier, and looking healthier for much longer between cuts. Olaplex didn't really seem to do anything for my hair when I tried it a couple of years ago, but I think I only used the #3 treatment.
I have thick, curly 3a hair, and a TON of it. I tend to wear it straight this time of year because it looks terribly frizzy and I hate that and I can get several days of good hair out of straightening. I have a pretty nice curl pattern overall and I have also wondered about Olaplex since I'm highlighting it to cover gray regularly and I know my stylist uses it in the salon. I am a hair product junkie and tend to have like 5 different shampoos in my shower at any given time.
I love Living Proof and IGK shampoos for styling straight and overall frizz management. For curl, I tend to pick up any brand's curly formula when liters are on sale. I have tried both Deva Curl and Ouidad lines in their entirely and have been wholly underwhelmed. Maybe I haven't gone far enough in with their "systems" but every time I try, my hair doesn't curl right at all. I could use the cheapest gel, scrunch and air dry, and get better looking curls than what I get after the entire Deva Curl process.
My absolute all time best curl products are Paul Mitchell skinny serum (I use this when I straighten as well) and Biolage Gelee all purpose gel. Nothing works better on my hair than that thin Biolage gel, I've been using it for over 20 years.

Hair type- coarse and very thick, mostly straight but needs a lot of taming to be smooth. Blonde balayage with a glaze so I'm always trying to preserve that color glaze.
My verrryyyyy specific current rent hair regimen as recommended by my stylist, and I wash once a week:
Matrix smoothing shampoo, shampoo twice. Follow with L'OREAL Professional Serie Expert Blondifier Shampoo Cool (Purple Shampoo), leave on for 5 minutes then rinse.
Towel dampness from hair, follow with Olaplex 8 and leave on for 10 minutes with hot towel and shower cap, then rinse.
Before blow drying I use MoroccanOil Light. I used to use an Olaplex cream but didn't love it. If I need dry shampoo in between I use Batiste in Brilliant Blonde. If I need to wash in between my regular weekly I just shampoo twice wtih the Matrix and follow with Matrix Smooth conditioner.
