I thought poison ivy had 3 leaves and the leaves are kind of shaped like a hand? Anyway, that doesn't look like poison ivy to me, but doesn't mean it isn't something else.
It's not poisonous. Do you have an iPhone? Take a photo then get the info from there. It's a new feature from one of the last updates. It just pulls up from the bottom.
I remember learning "leaves of three, let them be. Leaves of five, let them thrive." And it always stuck with me. Not sure if it's 100% but it's helped spot poison ivy.
Definitely Virginia Creeper - BUT, there's an old wives' tale that Poison Ivy is often found surrounded by creeper, so still be careful.
Quoting myself - when Virginia creeper is growing, the very new sections actually do have three leaves for a bit. Notice on TR's picture, how the edges are serrated EXCEPT the interior edges of the two outer leaves? That is the giveaway for poison ivy.
Yes it’s Virginia creeper. About 10 years ago, we ripped out a ton of overgrown landscaping and this was in it. Days later, DH and I both had a nasty oozy, itchy rash on our exposed skin on our arms and legs.
We still find Virginia creeper here and I kill it as we’ve both reacted from it. I know a quick Google says it’s not poisonous but we both definitely had a horrible rash from it.

So poison Ivy has three leaves and all the edges are serrated except the the interior portion of the two outer leaves. Just so I know what to avoid lol.

Most of the time, yes- but sometimes it can grow weird. Just avoid 3 leaves!
I agree with the others. But, if you do think something might be poison ivy we remove them from our work courtyard with long disposable gloves, put into a trash bag, remove gloves without touching them and make sure the poison ivy doesn't touch your clothes or anything else in the process. Some people are allergic through the air too, but most just if it touches them.

I react as well to this. My skin has gotten more sensitive as I have aged. If you are ever wondering what a plant is, open up google, click on the camera icon and snap a pic. Its been very accurate for everything I have looked up!
Ugh, virginia creeper is such a pain to eradicate.
Yes! OP pull that shit pronto! I recently had to go back to the town we moved from 5 years ago. The summer of the year *before* we moved, I thought I finally got it all, but we moved before its normal explosion in mid-summer, so I wasn't sure. H rode by the house for nostalgia purposes and I was like AHA! NO VIRGINIA CREEPER! I FUCKING WIN! The level of satisfaction was intense, lol. The landscaping didn't seem to be particularly well cared-for, so I am at least 60% sure it qas my efforts that won the war and 100% sure I'll take the credit regardless.
