I found out I am going to a conference near Disney in two weeks and decided to fly out a day early and do a solo day at Epcot! I will only have about seven hours and I have been there before. Any tips on the best food or drinks from the food and wine festival? Any must-sees in the world showcase? With the kids, we tend to be very ride focused when we go since they are young, so this is my chance to see all the things we normally don’t get to! Sit down and catch a concert, browse stores, see the shows, etc.
That’s awesome! I love just strolling through the stores. Germany and Italy and France are my favorites. I love the movie they show in France too. It’s old but beautiful
Ha! I will also be at Epcot in about 2 weeks while my husband is in a conference.
My plan is to eat and drink around the world. The menus for the food & wine festival look so good.
edwardo123 I looked at that ride and it's definitely something I want to do. When do you purchase lightening lane?
At 7 AM and 1 PM, you can try to join the free virtual queue through the app. I didn’t have any luck at 7, but I saw an option to purchase a lightning pass on the app around 9/10.
I know you said no rides, but the ne Guardian of the Galaxy ride is amazing. It is worth the cost of the lightning lane.
I will happily do rides! I didn’t realize that one had opened, woo hoo! I just mean that’s all we usually get to do, so I’m less familiar with the other options.

I had a solo Epcot day last month and I took advantage of the solo line for Test Track. I had a blast and spent around 10 minutes in line total.
I also did a solo dinner at Chefs de France. It was so great to go at my own pace with dinner. And I think you get faster service when you’re alone because they want to move onto groups with higher guest counts.
